Nationwide Scholarship Training Program for Cybersecurity Awareness and International Certification
National CyberFest 2023 - Empowering Nigeria's Cybersecurity Landscape.
Introduction:
In an era defined by rapid digitization, cybersecurity has emerged as a paramount concern. Recognizing the critical need to equip Nigerians with the skills and knowledge to navigate this digital landscape securely, we present “National CyberFest 2023.” This comprehensive nationwide scholarship training program aims to transform individuals and state governments into cybersecurity champions, fostering a safer digital Nigeria for all.
Program Objectives:
- Empowerment Through Education: Provide 7,400 participants across all 36 states in Nigeria including the FCT with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, enabling them to proactively identify and mitigate cyber threats.
- Scholarship for Excellence: Recognize outstanding performance by awarding scholarships for the globally acclaimed EC Council Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU) international certification. Eight (8) participants from each state, totaling 296 individuals, will earn this prestigious opportunity.
- Inclusivity and Diversity: Cater to both Category A (Government Officials) and Category B (Civil Servants, Business Owners, Students, and Youths), ensuring a diverse representation of stakeholders nationwide.
- Hybrid Learning Approach: Leverage the benefits of both online and physical training, offering flexibility without compromising on the quality of education. Physical training followed by online access to training resources on CYSEC Academy (www.cysecacademy.com).
- Building Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with state governments, cybersecurity institutions, stakeholders, private organizations, individuals and sponsors to ensure the program’s success and sustainability.
- Inclusivity and Diversity: Cater to both Category A (Government Officials) and Category B (Civil Servants, Business Owners, Students, and Youths), ensuring a diverse representation of stakeholders nationwide
With your support and that of the State Governments, we will be adding cybersecurity skills to over 8,000 beneficiaries nationwide in all the states in Nigeria including the FCT through CyberFest 2023.

Certification Fees Sponsor
Upgraded Era Solutions Limited – an ICT and Cybersecurity Services provider and an EC Council Accredited Training partner, is sponsoring 400 International Certification Vouchers at N250,000 per voucher. We need more sponsorship to be able to certify and impact more beneficiaries.
