Our Story
Cyber Security Challenge Nigeria
CYSEC NG was established to address the growing threats of cybercrime, digital exploitation, misinformation, and unsafe online practices across Africa. We exist to empower digital citizens through awareness, education, skill-building, and community engagement.

Cyber Security Challenge Nigeria Initiative (CYSEC NG) is the first and largest offensive-focused cyber conference and hacking event in Africa.
Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), CYSEC NG is a youth-led initiative committed to developing Nigeria’s next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Our mission is to identify, train, and empower talented women and youths across the country by providing platforms for skill acquisition, capacity building, youth empowerment, and local content development in information and cybersecurity. Through our programs, we support national growth by promoting job creation, skills development, and increased cybersecurity competence across Nigeria.
Our programs also create opportunities for stakeholders across the ICT and security ecosystem to collaborate on sustainable cybersecurity strategies.
CYSEC NG brings together leading cybersecurity experts, high-level speakers, researchers, government officials, industry leaders, CIOs, CEOs, and policymakers from around the world. Our conferences and programs provide a unique environment for discussing industry trends, exploring challenges, sharing best practices, and observing real-life demonstrations of modern attack techniques and defensive strategies. Attendees gain practical insights that can be immediately applied to strengthen organizational and national cyber resilience.
These engagements help shape both short- and long-term cybersecurity solutions, strengthening Nigeria’s technical capacity and preparing the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.
